  • A General Admission Ticket includes admission to the festival where you get access to a unique line-up of Irish and international chefs, restaurants and other food and drink providers. It also gives you access to Bastecamp & Brewcamp for demos, talks, tastings and workshops with a host of talent from guest chefs to Ireland’s leading food and drink experts. On top of that there will be music & entertainment (DJs and live acts), eating competitions, a host of bars, cocktails, distilleries and a selection of Irish craft breweries. There will be plenty of incredible Irish vendors offering amazing artisan products and everything from a Michelin-star bowl of coddle to ice creams and all manner of delights in between!

  • Yes, a limited number of tickets will be available to purchase from the Gate/Box Office at St Michan’s Street entrance on the day unless a given day is sold out in advance.

    Please note - Friday and Saturday tickets likely to sell out in advance.

  • Your tickets will be emailed to you upon purchase*

    On arrival at the event you simply present the ticket barcode via your smartphone, or alternatively you can also print them out.

    *For child tickets you will receive an order confirmation and not a scannable ticket. These orders must be presented at the Box office in exchange for a child wristband

  • Unfortunately Me Auld Flower cannot offer refunds unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled.

  • Unfortunately we cannot accommodate any changes to ticket days or times.

Kids

  • Due to capacity reasons kids aged 3-12 will require a ticket priced at €5. Kids 0-2 do not require a ticket, and those aged 13-18 require a full price ticket and must be accompanied by an adult.

    Also note, there is no dedicated area or entertainment for kids, but there will be plenty of delicious kid friendly food!

  • Under 18s are only permitted to the day sessions March 17th, 18th & 19th. and must be accompanied by an adult. The evening sessions March 16th, 17th & 18th are strictly over 18s.

  • Yes buggies and prams are allowed!

Location & Times

  • The festival is taking place in Dublin City Fruit, Vegetable & Flower Market, Dublin 7 from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th March, 2023.

    Entrance to the festival is via the St Michan’s Street entrance here.

Travel

  • We strongly advise using public transport to get to the festival. There are many options, see below.

    There is no parking permitted at the festival location and parking in the area will be extremely limited and restricted during the week of St Patrick's Festival in Dublin City.

    Please do not obstruct driveways, neighbouring properties or park illegally as this can cause great inconvenience to our neighbours.

    Luas: The Luas Red Line runs east to west along Phoenix Street. Hop off at the Four Courts stop and walk 1 minute to the festival entrance.

    Dart: Nearest stations Connolly St, Tara St and Pearce St are but a hop, skip and a jump away!

    The location is also easily accessible by foot and bicycle. Dublin city centre has a bike rental scheme Dublin City Bikes, which you can find out more information about here.

  • Yes. There is a designated trackway in the main area. There are some raised areas, but accessible via ramps. Disabled toilet facilities are available.

Food & Drink

  • Yes. Full list of vendors to be announced soon!

  • The festival’s menus will have a variety of dishes from restaurants and vendors, so you eat your way around. Prices start from €6. Bear in mind, the higher the quality of meat and produce, the higher the price will be!

    Craft beer is from €4 for a glass and €6.50 for a pint.

    Long drinks and cocktails start from €8.

    There will also be market stalls with a range of produce to purchase and take home.

  • Only food and drink purchased at the event is permitted, with the exception of baby food.

  • Yes you can bring a reusable water bottle once it’s empty on arrival to the event. There will be drinking water taps on site for filling.

Payments At The Event

  • Contactless and mobile payments will be available at all vendors. This is a cashless event, however you can purchase Spending Cards using cash or card. These cards can be used to spend at all vendors.

  • Spending Cards are pre-loaded cards you can use to spend on food, drink and everything else at the event. They come pre-loaded in €20 and €50 cards and are available to top-up during the event. They’re great if you want to pay in cash or distribute to a group as spending money. They will be available to purchase from the box office and merch stand.

Demos, Competitions & Entertainment

  • Bastecamp & Brewcamp are the hubs of the festival for learning, tasting and experiences.

    Expect demos and tastings with some of the best chefs and experts in the business. There will be fun chats, interviews and plenty more surprises!

  • This event does not have a dedicated children's area. However, children are welcome to attend the festival once supervised by an adult.

Facilities

  • Yes, located near the main toilets.

  • There will be no cloakroom or storage facilities. Bags must not be left at entrances or surrounding areas. Any unattended items left will be removed and disposed of accordingly.

More Questions…

  • Dress for an outdoor event. The historical market building was designed to keep produce cool, so it operates at a lower temperature all year round.

  • Regrettably, no animals are allowed inside the event, with the exception of registered assistance animals.

  • Large bags and backpacks will NOT be allowed into the festival, only small bags measuring no bigger than A4 (8.27in/21cm x 11.7in/29.7cm) will be permitted into the event. Bags smaller than A4 will be searched on entry, to avoid lengthy queues we strongly advise that you do not bring a bag. scription

  • Only small umbrellas are allowed into the event. Medium to large golf umbrellas are not permitted.
